Recently, after being recommended by related local departments andlocal units and selected by the provincial level organization, our Eyas Volunteer Team was selected as a provincial-level volunteerteam of “Benyu Volunteer Service Team” in Hubei Province for the year 2022.
In order to further study and implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s significant letter to the “Benyu Volunteer Team” of Huazhong Agricultural University, further deepen the brand image of Hubei Young Volunteers and promote the transformation and upgrading of young volunteer actions in the province, the Communist Youth League of Hubei province and the Young Volunteers Association of Hubei province have initiated the 2022 provincial “Benyu Volunteer Team” founding activities. After many round of selection, 120 youth volunteer teams were identified as the 2022 Hubei Provincial “Benyu Volunteer Teams”.
Founded in March 2015, Eyas Volunteer Team has set Ezhou Tujiashan Town Middle School as its volunteer service base with the purpose of “love for left-behind children, love for growth”. The team has formed a unique “nine in one” series of activities with scholarship, psychological counseling, legal aid, social research, summer volunteer teaching, target help, cultural education, labor education and red education, and has paid great attention into the real life of left-behind children and made practical actions to help their growth. The service team was entitled as “Hongshan District Excellent Volunteer Service Team” and its representative project was evaluated as the characteristic project of practical education in Hubei Province universities in 2016, the most promising volunteer project of Zhongnan Universtity of Economic and Law in 2016, and the excellent volunteer project and top ten volunteer project of “Accommodation Cup” of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law in 2017, and the top ten young group of “Model for School of Business Administration” in 2018. It is a great recognition for Eyas Volunteer Team’s volunteer activities as one volunteer team of “Benyu Volunteer Team” in recent years, and will also inspire the team to continue to respond to the call of the Party Central Committee to keep increasing volunteer activities. While giving material and spiritual help to Tu Zhen Middle School students, the team calls on college students to engage in social practice and volunteer services, hoping to attract more social forces to engage in grassroots construction, thus form a kind social atmosphere that caring a comprehensive development of left-behind children.
